What You're Looking For ...

Actually, what are you looking for ... when you want to make money online?

A "good" market.

Most people are worried about how to get traffic or monetizing the market. This is important stuff but ... it should not be the main concern at all.

The main concern should be finding a good market which is actually, finding good keywords online.

So, what is a good market?

A market that you can make money in ... and also, preferably dominate. Dominating means being the #1 in the mindshare of your potential customer.

You see, the "internet marketing" and "business opportunity" can be excellent markets as well. In real actual fact, THEY ARE.

But the statistic of success would be very low unless you have these 2 power "ingredients":

1. Success proof

- Success proof is basically the evidence you can show to be 'qualified' as someone who can pass on the knowledge or teach.

Most of the of time, it's dependant on how much money you have made online, traffic, subscribers, etc that you have depending on what you're going to teach. If you want to teach the topic of "list-building", you better have a huge list of your own to act as a proof of what you're going to teach. If you want to teach about "viral marketing", just make sure that you're getting traffic FROM viral marketing.

The good news is, if you know how to select an uncompetitive niche market, you have "qualified" yourself easily.

Put it this way You can be an authority on "how to makeup" as long as your makeup methods can make a girl look pretty. Make sense? It's about PROVING RESULTS.

2. Supported credibility

- Supported credibility can come in many forms. If you're an author of a tangible book or a speaker in a well-known seminar, you have automatically gained the supported credibility. Another form of supported credibility is by having testimonials from YOUR COMPETITORS or other well-known Individuals in your particular niche market.

If you have these two power ingredients, you should get into these types of competitive niche markets that you want to do.

What I'm trying to say is that you should not go into these niches if you do not have success proof or supported credibility, because it'll definitely be easier if you have them in your hand.

If you're going into an uncompetitive niche market, those problems are automatically solved.

But choosing a market depends on more than just merely looking at the market entry advertising cost and the volume of searches from http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion

It's not about the stats you got from research.

It's about

UNDERSTANDING YOUR MARKET.

I know you might hear about this over and over again.

I hope I've "nailed" it down in your mind this time...

"UNDERSTANDING YOUR MARKET will make you a very wealthy person online."

Put it this way, if you don't understand your market, you can't sell a thing to it.

One of the ways to determine a buying market that I've always stressed to my students is ...

*Finding Hardcore Believers/Followers*

There are certain niche markets that have people willing to spend. These are the 'believers/followers'. It's really hard for me to tell you which niches these are ... but as a simple guideline, ask yourself,

"How much do they really need it?"

For instance, model train hobbyists are crazy spenders for anything related to "model trains".

That's why, "internet marketing" or "how to make money" niche markets can sell very well. There are a lot of hardcore believers/followers in these niches.

Look around you. You're probably subscribed to newsletters belonging to internet marketers that make money by just 'teaching' people how to make money from the internet. Is that wrong? Absolutely not ... if what they teach works. Of course, it would be VERY WRONG if they have never tried the methods to know that they are workable 100%.

End of the day, it's the result that counts .. isn't it?

Best Chef Knives For Your Kitchen - Review Of Vintage Henckels Chef Knife Vs New Henckels Chef Knife

Every functional kitchen needs good knives. However, most of us settle for substandard knives which generally get the job done. However, for those individuals that want to take their culinary tasks to the next level - it is with good judgment that time be invested on considering which knives they choose in order to get the best chef's knife.

You might be saying to yourself: "I want the best chef's knife... But I don't want to spend a fortune on knives that all cut the same".

There are two things about that statement that are untrue.

1. You don't have to spend a fortune to get a good knife these days. In fact, you can get yourself a vintage chef's knife off of eBay for next to nothing. In fact, if you're inclined to look a bit you can find one for less than 20 dollars. These vintage chef's knives, some of which are old Henckels Solingen branded are old and gray looking. Don't let the patina fool you. These knives were made with very strong steel which is incredible durable and will literally last lifetimes. Yes lifetimes! These knives however, must be cared for differently than modern day knives. I'll discuss that more in a minute.

2. All knives do not cut the same. In fact, knife edges, handles, and design can give a very different look and feel to the user.

In regards to the old vintage Solingen knives vs. modern day stainless steel knives, you can see a clear difference in how the knives look visually. This is due to the composition of the vintage steel. Due to it's high carbon content the steel is harder and maintains an edge well, however it is more prone to rust and graying. In my humble opinion, this gives the blade character. Newer modern Henckels knives are made with techniques that ensure the blade stays sharp yet doesn't rust or gray. These knives are also generally more tolerant to dishwashers however, it is still recommended that they be hand washed and stored in a butchers block.

In all, Solingen vintage knives and modern Twin Cermax Henckels knives are both good choices. One must decide however, if they are intent on caring for the older more sensitive blade or if they will be content with a less maintenance free blade.

Ultimately the decision is yours. Consider price, feel, durability and the investment that a good knife will give you. A good knife will serve you well for years to come if taken care of regardless of age.

Model Train Giant Marklin

Marklin, a Germany based toy giant is well known for technical toys and model railways. Originally specialized in doll accessories, the company was founded in 1959. Now it has become almost synonym of model railroad. It was in 1891 that the very first train with cars was released by this toy giant. Today it makes almost all popular model rail road scale except Wide gauge and N scale. It is Marklin that defined the gauges for toy trains which later became the international standards. It started making O gauge followed by HO scale and Z scale. At present it is involved in manufacturing and marketing trains and its accessories in Z scale, Gauge 1 and Z scale.

Trix, another brand name of Marklin, was also a Nuremberg based model train manufacturer. Today it manufactures DC- operated HO scale and N scale models. The older models of this company still find favor with millions and its latest products have got the elite status among the model train loving crowds.

Till 1999 this company was known especially for its model trains but after that it also started producing mechanical construction sets. It also used to manufacture lithographed toys and boats. At present it is best known for its Marklin system. Marklin system is basically Marklin techniques. The techniques refer to using a third rail hid in the roadbed made of small studs. The two outer rails are connected through electricity. Thus only two trains are visible with simplified wiring system. But in actual it's a three rail system. Marklin has also the distinction of introducing a digital train system. It was introduced in 1984 with the collaboration of Motorola. But only 2-rail DC trix brand manufactured by marklin is powered with digital command control. In its digital system there is a component named Marklin k83 for controlling model trains. With the help of this component signals turnouts are flashed in either green or red color. The current produced in this mechanism is temporary. The switching of permanent current is done by another module of Marklin known as Marklin 6084 or k84. This module is a 4 digital relays. Each relay is equipped with two mutually exclusive outputs. It is used to make switch on and off for current supply or cut.

With the passage of time the company has become a name to recon with in the field of toy manufacturing. It makes an extensive range of products. Its product packaging is also impressive. It is quite systematic showing a print run number on all its printed material. The number indicates the month and year of printing and the other group of digits indicates catalogue number. Nowadays Marklin's model trains are easily available through online shopping.

Modellbahnott, one of the leading marklin Dealer in USA motoring websites for used cars. First established in January 1998, it provides marklin trains, model train accessories and model railroads. Modellbahnott also provides z scale model trains.

Front Yard, Grave Yard

Halloween decorating can be a lot of fun for both the creator and the neighborhood. There are a lot of options for those who like to decorate their yard for this be-a-kid day, uh, night. Many different people either go all out or simply hang a paper skeleton on their front window. For those that go all out, the neighbor kids will gravitate to your place, so there will not be a shortage of ghosts, goblins and ghouls stopping by on October 31st.

One extremely fun type of decor is to make your front-yard into a grave yard. One can go completely elaborate with lighting, sound, lots of head-stones and even a mausoleum. However, you can start simple and do lots of grave-stones with very little effort and creativity. Head stones, grave stones and grave markers have been around since the dawn of time and have always been markers for the buried. They also can form the creep affect which is paramount on Halloween. If youre semi-creative or very creative you can have lots of fun making head stones.

To start, head over to your favorite lumber yard or home improvement center. Locate the insulation isle and find the pink or blue sheets of foam insulation. Your best bet is to use either the 1 1/2 or 2 inch sheets. Either size will work and color is irrelevant as youll be painting over them anyway.

Once you have your trusty sheet of foam home and in the garage, youll need to find some stencils and/or pictures by perusing the web or just about any source where graves are displayed. There are tons of head-stone and grave yard sites that can tickle your idea and imagination bone. If you dont have a reference, your town probably has a cemetery near by. A digital camera and a nicely lit day work just as well. Of course, the other more creative approach, a favorite, is to completely make up the shapes from memory. Everyone has been to a grave yard at one time or another, so there are plenty of references. Each sheet should yield about 6 to 8 head stones which is usually plenty to get started.

Cutting extruded styrofoam can be very easy and while there are several ways to perform the cutting, a large kitchen knife usually reserved for that large watermelon during the summer will work just fine. Knives tend to leave rough edges and thats fine for when you want that very old look which is common in grave yards. Other cutting tools that can be used are special styrofoam electric cutters that you can find on the web as well as there are several sites that offer a How-To on making your own cutter with a soldering iron and some heavy copper wire.

Now that youve cut out your head stone shape, youll want to put some kind of writing, eulogy or some kind of markings. Here a wood burning tool works good, a sharp utility knife or a set of those craft knives with a variety of blades. For lettering you can either use some kind of stencil set and or print something from your favorite word processor. Either way, you can either go authentic or funny. Draw an outline of the wording, drawing or date onto the front of the head-stone and cut out the lettering causing an embossing affect. If you have a wood burner and are familiar with its use, you can simply melt out the letters. Embossing the wording, lettering or date give it a 3-D affect and an authentic look. Plus, at night, it adds a creepy affect if lighting is involved. For added interest, use a friend or neighbors name to add that extra touch. However, make sure theyre a good friend and not someone you really want to see buried. That could lead to a whole other set of problems.

After all of the prep work is done by cutting your shape, adding your wording or markings, youll need to prepare it for presentation. With any type of sandpaper, clean the entire surface and make sure the cut edges are void of any extra pieces hanging where your knife did the cut. Now that its clean and ready, you should use a latex paint to prime or cover the entire surface. Latex paint creates both a barrier and surface for the final coloring. Use a light or white latex that can be found on the Oops shelf at just about any home improvement center.

Let the prime paint dry before going onto the final coat. Once dry, you now have several fine finish choices to wrap up the project. One technique is to spray water on the primed surface and lightly spray a black or gray paint letting it drip down through the cracks and surface of the head-stone. You can also dry brush getting the same affect by taking a light gray or darker colored paint and lightly applying it on the corners, in the engraved writing or in cracks. Taking a dry paint brush, lightly swipe in a downward fashion the dark paint until it creates streaks on the lighter surface.

For added affects, you can also add moss found in any hobby shop or where ever dried flowers or model trains are sold. This takes a lot more patience and simply painting should do the trick. For that perfectionist, cracks, additional coloring and the moss affect can really take it to the next level.

Once your first one is done, repeat until you have enough to make your own yard of head-stones. Putting a grave yard in your own front yard for Halloween can be both fun and rewarding if you anticipate lots of trick-er-treaters. Typically, the kids love the added affect and will definitely stop by your house to relieve you of the enormous amount of candy you have at the ready.

Online Shopping - The New Generation Marketplaces

Internet has completely changed the retail shopping industry. Anyone can find his or her preferred products & services on the online websites sitting at home. In addition to this, these online places offer various lucrative deals and schemes as well. People do not need to visit the shopping places physically and they have more choices now.

Online Shopping is relatively a new concept that has emerged as a popular choice for the shoppers. The consumers now have the option of visiting hundreds of websites so that they could select the best products & services. Earlier, TV & newspaper ads and few other advertising media were the only sources through which consumers could know about the latest products. Now, one can find the latest offers, specifications, prices and other details of products on the online shopping portals.

With the rising number of internet users, online shopping has become more popular these days. Many price comparison portals are available on internet where customers can compare prices of their favourite product with other available brands. Moreover, most of the companies are now coming up with their own websites where all the products and services offered by them are displayed. The prices are relatively lower on these sites as customers are offered the goods directly from the manufacturers and there are no other mediators in the supply chain process.

During festive seasons or any other particular occasion, the online portals offer many discounts, deals and schemes so that customers could shop in large quantity. These sites deliver the products at customer's place within the specified time period. Many people prefer to shop through these sites because they do not want to wait for long, standing in the queue. The price comparison portals offer the opportunity to compare price of their products with other brands available in the market.

In general, online shopping industry is controlled by the consumers. They can go to any of the websites that offer the products they are looking for. This freedom is the most important factor behind the rapid growth of this industry. The future looks more promising as the number of internet users is growing all over the world.

Playing God - Landscaping Your Model Railroad Layout

One of the more fun aspects of model railroading is planning and executing the scenery and landscaping that your track and engines will meander through for some it is almost like playing God in that you can decide and create on any scene you desire.

From fanciful hobbit themes, alien worlds or realistic recreations there is nothing that you cannot create and display, all it takes is a plan, some materials, a little skill and some time.

First and foremost you need a plan or at least a concept.

- Do you want to duplicate an existing landscape?
- Do you want a faithful historical recreation of a place now lost in time?
- Are you more inclined to creating a never-before seen or unlikely scenario to wow the masses?

Making a choice on one theme for your layout and staying true to that theme is perhaps the most important keys to success. If you change your methods and style in the middle of your landscape the result will be inconsistencies that will detract from the overall impression you are trying to form.

Ideally those you invite to view your work will see a delightful scene and the harder they look the more detail enforcing that scene they will find. Nothing is more enjoyable then hearing those delighted squeals as a viewer notices ever more subtle details as they come closer and closer and the key to that is consistency.

Once you have a plan for the theme you need to decide on track placement and terrain. Many modelers create the terrain and then try to force the track to follow through that, just as occurs in real life but one of the advantages of modeling vs. real life is that you can consider all aspects and requirements up front. If you know you will have a bend or a switch at certain points why design rough terrain that you will then try to overcome with 'grading' in your models at those points?

Next you should collect your materials some items you can find around the house, others you may wish to purchase from dealers such as www.oakridgehobbies.com and www.jttmicroscale.com or your local hobby shop but always stay true to your plan. Just because you find an amazing little miniature you long to use doesn't mean it belongs in this model! Common materials you will need include:

1. Tables or Stands
2. Plywood (preferably outdoor grade) for base if using stands
3. Glues
4. Twigs, 'dirt' gravel, crushed or powdered stones, herbs etc. for plants and groundcover
5. Paints of various kinds for touch-up, covering the base and backgrounds etc.
6. Poster board, wax paper, aluminum foil, tissues etc. for texturing and shaping
7. Styrofoam blocks and sheets for shaping

Optional items you may wish to use include:

8. Plaster of Paris and / or fiberglass
9. Talcum powder, pepper and salt, cayenne pepper for texturing and colorants
10. Corkboard and cork 'paper'
11. Roof repair tar (for road surfaces etc.)
12. Paintable caulks and adhesives for securing items in place
